Client Interview - Elaine Hudson

Elaine Hudson

My name is Elaine, I weighed 98.9kgs and I’m a mum of 4 teenage children. I’m 44 years old and work as a welfare officer. I enjoy being active although seemed to always put myself last. What made you chose Dave at Dmac Fitness? What areas did you need help in? This year, I decided I needed to do something for myself. I chose Dave at Dmac Fitness as his profile stood out as one of the best to suit what I needed. I needed nutritional advice, weight loss and I needed the support from a professional to help me change not only physical habits but my head space which has given me back my drive to succeed. What was your goal when starting with Dave? My initial goal was to after one session, turn up the next week. Once I had achieved this I wanted to achieve a weight of 70kgs by my 44th Birthday. I did this by eating better, exercising regularly and turning up each week. What results did you achieve? After meeting my initial goals, we set a new goal and reasons why I wanted to achieve that. I was being accountable for food intake with a food diary and making sure I attended the sessions. In the first few weeks I had lost 5 kgs and several inches, which kept me motivated. 10 months later I have increased my sessions from 2 to 3 a week and enjoy every workout. I have lost a huge 32.8kgs and have gone from a size 18 to a size 12. What benefits do you feel from achieving those results? Physically I feel like I’m in my teens again, I have a lot more energy, I’m thinking more clearly and my children love that I can get out and play soccer with them again. I have muscles that I haven’t seen in years and the curves of a healthy real woman! What do you like about training with Dave? I really like the fact that it’s 1:1 or small groups and personally tailored to me. He is the quiet achiever and very professional. He is flexible in meeting my needs and I feel very comfortable going to Dmac Fitness. The quiet location made me feel less insecure and safe to bear my weaknesses
